Arrival Time
To ensure the best possible experience, we kindly ask clients to arrive at least 10 minutes before their appointment. This allows sufficient time to check in, use the facilities, complete any required consultation forms, and choose from our wide range of colours.
Out of respect for all clients, we operate a strict appointment schedule. Late arrivals may result in your appointment being shortened or, in some cases, cancelled if there is insufficient time to complete the service. If you are running late, please contact the salon as soon as possible.
Whilst every effort is made to keep appointments on schedule, delays may occasionally occur. Should this happen, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer to reschedule your appointment where appropriate.
Cancellation & Late Arrival Policy
MW Nails and Beauty operates a strict 24-hour cancellation policy due to the high demand for appointments. This policy applies to all bookings made in person, by telephone, email, website, app, or third-party booking platforms.
Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice will not incur any charge.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, missed appointments (no-shows), or appointments where clients fail to attend will incur a 100% cancellation fee, or the full value of the treatment/package will be deducted.
Bookings made within 24 hours of the appointment remain fully chargeable and cannot be downgraded or partially cancelled.
Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late may lose their appointment and still be charged the full treatment price. Where possible, we will complete a shortened treatment; however, the full booked treatment price will still apply.
Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in future appointments only being accepted with full prepayment or via our online booking system.
Payment Policy
Payment is due immediately upon completion of your treatment unless prepaid.
We accept cash and all major debit and credit cards.
Prices are subject to change without prior notice. The price confirmed at the time of booking will apply unless additional services or upgrades are requested during your appointment.
Group & Event Bookings
Group bookings of 5 or more people require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure the reservation.
An invoice will be issued, and the booking will only be confirmed once payment has been received.
A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to amend or cancel group bookings.
Private events and party bookings are available upon request with bespoke packages tailored to your requirements.
Large events require a 70% non-refundable deposit, payable at least 72 hours before the event.
Treatment Packages
Treatment packages cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or discounts unless otherwise stated.
Packages are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Gift Vouchers
Gift voucher details must be provided when booking and presented upon arrival.
Failure to attend an appointment will result in the full or partial treatment value being deducted from the voucher.
Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and will not be replaced if lost, stolen or damaged.
Unused balances remain available until the expiry date.
Nail Aftercare & Service Guarantee
We encourage all clients to carefully inspect their nails before leaving the salon. If you have any concerns, please speak to a member of our team immediately so we can resolve the issue.
Should your gel polish chip within 3 days of your appointment due to workmanship, please email clear photographs to info@mwnailsandbeauty.co.uk. We will happily offer a complimentary repair, provided it is booked within 7 days of your original appointment.
Our guarantee applies only to workmanship and does not cover:

Accidental damage

Picking or biting nails

Incorrect aftercare

Excessive force or misuse

Exposure to harsh chemicals

Normal wear and tear

Breakages caused by lifestyle or occupation
Regular nail polish is not guaranteed.
Please remember: Your nails are jewels, not tools.
Changes During Your Appointment
Any changes to the agreed treatment, nail design, length or service during your appointment may incur additional charges and may not be possible if time does not permit.
Patch Tests & Medical Information
Patch tests are required at least 24 hours before tinting and waxing treatments for first-time clients.
Please advise us of any allergies, sensitivities, medications, pregnancy or medical conditions that may affect your treatment.
All clients may be required to complete a consultation form.
MW Nails and Beauty cannot be held responsible for reactions resulting from medical information that has not been disclosed.
Infectious Conditions
For the health and safety of our clients and staff, we reserve the right to refuse or postpone treatment where a client has a contagious condition, including but not limited to fungal nail infections, open wounds, cold sores, conjunctivitis or any condition considered unsuitable for treatment.
Privacy
Your privacy is important to us.
All personal information is processed in accordance with UK data protection legislation and will never be sold or shared with third parties except where legally required.
Photography
We may occasionally photograph or record completed treatments for our website and social media.
If you do not wish your nails or images to be used, please let a member of staff know before your appointment.
Refund Policy
All treatments, services, gift vouchers and retail product purchases are non-refundable.
As services are provided immediately, refunds cannot be offered for completed treatments.
Where appropriate, we will offer a repair in accordance with our Service Guarantee.
Promotions
Promotional offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer unless otherwise stated.
MW Nails and Beauty reserves the right to amend or withdraw promotions at any time without prior notice.
Clients Under 16
Parental or guardian consent is required for all clients under the age of 16.
Children under 12 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
Children in the Salon
For health and safety reasons, children accompanying clients must remain supervised at all times.
Children are not permitted in treatment areas unless they have a booked appointment.
Lost Property
Clients are responsible for their personal belongings.
MW Nails and Beauty accepts no responsibility for any lost, stolen or damaged personal property.
Health & Safety
All products and equipment within the salon are intended for professional use only.
Clients must not use or handle salon equipment without staff permission.
Any damage caused to salon property by a client may result in the client being liable for repair or replacement costs.
Whilst every effort is made to provide treatments safely, accidents may occasionally occur. Any incident should be reported immediately so that an Accident Report Form can be completed.
Complaints Procedure
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your visit, please contact us as soon as possible.
Complaints should be submitted by email to info@mwnailsandbeauty.co.uk.
Our management team aims to respond within 48 working hours.

Right to Refuse Treatment
MW Nails and Beauty reserves the right to refuse or discontinue any treatment where:

It is considered unsafe or unsuitable.

A client displays abusive, aggressive, threatening or inappropriate behaviour.

A client appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

A client fails to follow salon policies.
We operate a zero-tolerance policy towards abuse or harassment of our staff.
Liability
Whilst every care is taken during your visit, MW Nails and Beauty shall not be liable for any indirect loss, damage or injury unless caused by proven negligence.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate medical information and following all aftercare advice.
Amendments
MW Nails and Beauty reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The latest version will always be available on our website and in the salon.
